MY STORY

My art is a direct result of a lifelong pursuit of storytelling. My journey has taken me from the immediacy of journalism and creative writing to the visual narratives of film, television, photography and finally to the canvas. In my work with acrylic and mixed media, I aim to create something that is not only strong and unique, but deeply emotional. I am influenced by the pioneers of Expressionism who sought to convey internal experience through art. Ultimately, my goal is to invite the viewer into a space of contemplation, to feel the story and emotion behind the image, and to find their own meaning within the layers of the painting.
